Getting started
A conversation before a care plan.
Support in Auslan, with Deaf-cultural understanding, from the very first hello.
- Get in touch. Use the care enquiry for yourself, or the referral page if you are supporting someone else. Choose SMS, a video call in Auslan, or email.
- Communication and consent. We check who the support is for, how they want to communicate and who they want involved. If someone makes decisions for you, we confirm their authority.
- Talk about your daily life. Your routines, goals and access needs, and what support would help at home. For supported independent living, we also talk about where and how you live.
- Check funding and availability. NDIS or private payment, what your plan covers, and when we can start. We support people across Victoria. An enquiry does not guarantee a place.
- Make your service agreement together. We explain costs, your rights, privacy and how to give feedback, in Auslan or the format you prefer. Each part of the service agreement has an Auslan video. You get a signed copy.
- Review as life changes. We check in every 3 months to review your supports, and change your supports when your needs change.
Please do not send medical records, your NDIS plan or other documents by SMS or email. When we need them, we will arrange a secure way to share them.
