NDIS participants
You should have choice and control over your supports, goals and daily life. Planning should respect your independence and your right to make informed choices about risk. Agreements should explain supports, costs, changes and how to end services in a format you understand.
Read the NDIS Practice Standards that set the quality expected of NDIS providers.
People receiving aged care
The Statement of Rights sets out the rights of people accessing funded aged care. Care planning should involve you, respect your preferences and support access to a person you choose to assist you.
Read the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission rights information.
Support for young people
Young people should be included in decisions in a way that suits their age and communication. Before support starts, we check consent and the authority of a parent, guardian or other representative.
